CLYDE - Irene Cimineri, 94, passed away on October 12, 2016, at the Wayne County Nursing Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday (October 17) at St. John's Church, 114 Sodus Street, in Clyde. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery, in Clyde. Memorials, in her name, may be made to St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 43 W. DeZeng St., Clyde, NY 14433. Mrs. Cimineri was born December 31, 1921, in Newark, the daughter of Francesco and Magdalena Mancuso Bailey. She graduated from Newark High School. Irene was a communicant of St. John's Roman Catholic Church and a member of the Catholic Daughters of America. For many years, she had worked for Parker Hannifin. Mrs. Cimineri is survived by her son, Joe (Juanita), of Clyde; five grandchildren Lisa Snyder-Cimineri, Zacharie Cimineri, Philip Vitticore, Marc Vitticore and Matt Vitticore; five great-grandchildren; two sisters Carmela Picchi and Anna (Karl) Chandler; many nieces and nephews. Irene was predeceased by her husband, Rocco, in 2009; her daughter, Deborah Vitticore, in 2012; six brothers and sisters. The family would like to thank the Wayne County Nursing Home and Newark-Wayne Community Hospital, for the wonderful care they provided to Irene. Arrangement have been entrusted to the Baris Funeral Home.
