Ida Resnick, 98, of Harrisburg, passed away Tuesday, October 11th, 2016 at The Residence of the Jewish Home of Greater Harrisburg. She was born in Steelton on June 25th, 1918 to the late Nathan and Fannie (Lipsitz) Gittlen. Ida was a member of Kesher Israel Congregation and it's Sisterhood, Hadassah and the Jewish Community Center. She is preceded in death by her husband, Hyman; two sons, Alan Resnick and Dr. Jeffrey Resnick; a granddaughter, Tara Resnick; daughter-in-law, Barbara Resnick; three sisters and four brothers. Surviving are her daughter, Anita R. Rottner and her husband, Mark of Atlanta, GA; four grandchildren, Michael Resnick, Jill Gerber and her husband, Brian both of Baltimore, MD, Michael Rottner, Jay Rottner and his wife, Allison both of Atlanta, GA. Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 14th, at 11 am at the Kesher Israel Cemetery Chapel with Rabbi Elisha Friedman officiating. Burial will follow in the Kesher Israel Cemetery.
