WILLETT, Hunter Paul 36, passed away suddenly Monday, January 9, 2017. Hunter was born on December 10, 1980 in Memphis, TN to Paul and Sherrye Willett. He and his family moved to Atlanta when he was two years old, where he had lived until his death. Hunter was a joyful little boy, who showed an avid interest in sports at an early age. He loved T-Ball, baseball, football and excelled in all. He graduated from The Lovett High School in 1999, where he was outside linebacker on the football team. From there, he attended Georgia Southern University, where he was a member of Alpha Tau Omega. He was a prior Vice President of NABA Club where he worked endless hours helping others on their life journey. Hunter was a kind-hearted friend to all who knew him; being the first there in times of trouble and in times of joy. His happiest times were spent with his two sons, Shawn and Sawyer. He leaves behind his mother and father, Paul and Sherrye Willett; sons, Shawn and Sawyer Willett; his grandmother, Barbara Wennemark and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him dearly. Services will be held at 2 pm Saturday, January 14th at the Historic Pace House, 3057 Paces Mill Rd. S.E, 30339. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
