MAPLETON ~ Hunter Raquel St. Cerny, 18, of Mapleton, passed away at 7:30 a.m. Friday, January 13, 2017 in Morton. She was born October 28, 1998 in Pekin to Todd T. and Sonja Marie (Sindle) St. Cerny. Surviving are her mother and stepfather, Sonja and Kevin Wolfer of Mapleton; her father, Todd T. St. Cerny of Danville; her grandparents, Douglas and Nonie Sindle of Manito, Gary and Peggy Grossweiler of Bradenton, Florida, Chris St. Cerny of Washington and Carolyn (Mike Hull) Wolfer of Pekin; her aunt, Julie Ann Brown of Washington; four uncles, James St. Cerny, IV of Canton, Scott Andrew St. Cerny of New Jersey; Jason (Chelsi) Sindle of Pekin and Sean (Connie) Sindle of Manito; a niece, Patience and a nephew, Dayton. Hunter was preceded in death by two brothers, Mark Anthony Williams and Todd Collin St. Cerny and her grandfather, James P. St. Cerny, III. She always had a loving and nurturing spirit. Hunter loved music and her Siberian Husky, Serj. Hunter was looking forward to starting college and pursuing a career in the health professions. Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. The Rev. Judy Doyle will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin.
