Helen Marie White Newburgh, IN Helen Marie White, 90, of Newburgh, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2017, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in 1927, in Mount Vernon, IL, to the late Robert and Mattie (Hunt) Warner. She was one of the first women to graduate from Central High School – Mechanical Arts and had worked for Central Industries, Chayes Virginia, and McDonalds. Helen performed in Evansville Recreation Department's fifth annual circus, where she walked the ball and was an archery champion. She was a charter member of Cypress Missionary Baptist Church of Boonville and was an avid quilter. Helen was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Herschel White; her parents, Robert and Mattie Warner; sisters, Virginia McCormick and Dorothy Eades, and their husbands, James McCormick and Jack Eades. She is survived by her son, Kenneth W. (Charlene) White; daughter, Brenda J. (Tony) Esparza; brother, Robert (Erie) Warner; brother-in-law, Ray (Peggy) White; grandchildren, Derek (Kathryn) White, Alissa (Eric) Plock, Matthew (Dawn) Esparza, Melody (Levi) Ramsey; and nine great-grandchildren; and eighteen nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank all the people involved from Comfort Keepers and Heart to Heart Hospice who were with her during those final days. Friends may visit 2-8 PM on Friday at Alexander Newburgh Chapel. Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 18, 2017, at Alexander Newburgh Chapel officiated by Rev.
