Helen M. Reinhard KINGSTON-Helen M. Reinhard, age 87, of Kingston died peacefully on Friday, Feb. 10, 2017 at home. Born on July 9, 1929 in Kingston, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Michael and Karoline Melnik. Mrs. Reinhard was a graduate of Kingston High School, Class of 1947. She was employed for over 20 at the New York Telephone Company in Kingston, and received the Operator of the Year Award. She was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church and an active member of their Mother’s Club. The love of family however, was the center of Helen’s life. Helen was the beloved wife of the late Daniel J. Reinhard who passed on Nov. 24, 2012. They were married for 61 years. Helen is survived by her three children, Dan Reinhard and wife Ellen of Kingston, Marijane Reinhard of Warwick, Thomas Reinhard and wife Regina of Westminster, Colo.; a sister, Mary Giovenco, a brother, Stanley Melnik both of Kingston; a grandson, Brian Palmisano of N.Y.C.; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Reinhard was predeceased by four brothers, Peter, Joseph, John and Michael Melnik. The family would also like to recognize two special people in Helen’s life: Her neighbor Carol Carr and her caregiver Trudy Melbourne. Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of the Joseph V. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church with burial following in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
