Midge Harmon passed away peacefully at her home, on Friday, October 14, 2016. She was born July 9, 1933 in Amarillo, TX to Rollie Guy Harmon and Malvina Jane Harmon. Midge graduated from Clovis High School and followed many of her siblings and went to work for the railroad, where she continued for 40 years. While she worked in both Clovis and Belen, she always considered Clovis her home. Midge remained active in the retired railroad association for many years. Midge was one of 10 children and is preceded in death by 9. While Midge did not have children she loved and supported her nieces and nephews, as well as friends children (and their children). She is survived by: her niece; Elizabeth Floersheim of Seattle, her nephews; Guy (Mary) Keilman of Napa, CA, Geary (Laurie) Keilman of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Rollie Light of Clovis, CA, several great nieces and nephews. She is also survived by many dear friends. Graveside services will be Thursday, October 20, 2016, 1:00 PM at Mission Garden of Memories, Clovis, NM. Midge was allergic to flowers and requested there be none at her service, instead a donation to the Hartley House or your favorite charity can be made. Arrangements have been entrusted to Muffley Funeral Home and High Plains Crematory, 575-762-4435, www.muffleyfuneralhome.com.
