Helen Virginia (Vester) Boselly 1926 - 2016 Surrounded by family members, our beloved Mother, Auntie, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, Helen Virginia (Vester) Boselly lost her battle from complications of Parkinson's on 10/4/2016 in Tracy, California. She was 90 years old. Helen was born on July 30th, 1926 to Mildred and Ellis Vester in Indianapolis, Indiana. She had four siblings; Jack Vester, Delbert Vester, Nina (Vester-Smith) Kullman and Vera (Vester) Warren. Helen left her home town of Indianapolis at seventeen and came to California where she remained; living in multiple cities throughout her life. Helen is survived by her four children and their respective spouses; Ron Boselly, Nancy (Boselly) Adkisson and spouse James Adkisson, Ken Boselly and spouse Karen, and Robert Boselly and spouse Danelle, as well as nine grandchildren; Nicholas and Ryan Barry, Kirsten (Boselly) Bendzick, Mathew, and Jeremy Boselly, Nicole Boselly, Tony Martinez, Randy Fischer, and Jonathon Boselly as well as nine great grandchildren; Ashlynn and Kendall Barry, Devin and Kaitlyn Barry, Eric and Emily Bendzick, Mariah, Hayley, and Makayla Fischer, as well as her beloved dog, Bandit. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Mildred (Vester) Hopson and Ellis Vester, sister Vera (Vester) Warren and brother's Delbert and Jack Vester). Helen is survived by her sister Nina (Vester-Smith) Kullman. While raising her four children, Helen worked at several high tech companies in Silicon Valley, California. In addition to the love she had for her family, she enjoyed gardening and crocheting; making many beautiful crocheted throws for family and friends. She was a beautiful woman, a loyal friend, good mother and grandmother and an independent, fearless person who lived her life her way. Growing up during a time when women were told they could not do certain things, she repeatedly proved them wrong. If someone told her she could not do something she wanted to do...that is exactly what she did. SHE DID IT HER WAY!! The family of Helen Virginia Boselly wishes to thank New Hope Post Acute Care in Tracy and VITAS Hospice staff and doctors for their loving care and support of our mother and family during the last years of her life. Helen's family and friends will be having a celebration of her life in November 2016. For more information contact: Nancy Adkisson 831-427-9503.
