In memory of
Heather Lynn ZARN
<![CDATA[ ZARN, Heather Lynn Heather Lynn (Terry) Zarn died peacefully on December 1, 2016, from a head injury after a fall while shopping. Heather was a lifelong resident of Spokane, Washington, where she and her mother moved soon after her birth on March 26, 1985, in Corpus Christi, Texas. She graduated from Lewis and Clark High School in 2003. Heather was smart, kind, and compassionate. She had a quirky sense of humor with a delightful laugh. She was a gifted artist, with a particular talent for pencil drawings. Her artistic abilities included playing the violin, which she learned at an early age. Heather enjoyed the outdoors. She was an avid participant in many of Spokane's Bloomsday Runs, which she often ran beside her grandfather, Dr. Richard Byrd. She also loved animals, and her dogs Abner and Simon were special joys in her life. Heather was preceded in death by her mother, Linda (Byrd) Terry. She is survived by her father, Robert Terry, her grandmothers, Ethel Terry and Lauretta Byrd, and her uncles, Robert (Lynda) and Dean (Jean Evans) Byrd. She will be forever missed by her family and close circle of friends. They take comfort in knowing that Heather was a generous organ donor. In her passing, she gave the gift of life to others. Donations may be made in Heather's name to the Spokane Humane Society or a charity of your choice.]]>
