Hazel Beasley Ayers Knoxville, TN Hazel Beasley Ayers, 95, of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2017. She was a devoted wife of 24 years, and was blessed with four children, five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She loved sewing, quilting, baking, and growing her own vegetables and beautiful flowers. She had a great love of God and was a member of Central Baptist Bearden, where she participated in the quilt ministry. Preceded in death by her husband, James Boyd Ayers; parents, Wise and Grace Beasley; son, Ronnie Ayers; brothers, Edsel, Coolidge, Welden and John Beasley; sisters, Helen Robinson and Vada Norris. She is survived by her children; Norma Buhl, James Ayers and wife Laura, Rebecca Justice and husband Chris; grandchildren, Anthony Buhl and girlfriend Caroline Haynes, Lindsey Chapman and husband Dereck, Joshua Justice, Scarlett and Jackson Ayers; great-grandchildren, Kylie and Luke Chapman; brother, Richard Beasley; sister, Laura Melton; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. Family will receive friends in Weaver's chapel Sunday, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., with service to follow at 4:00 p.m. Family and friends will meet at 12:45 p.m. Monday, at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens, 160 Edgemoor Rd., Powell, TN, for a 1:00 p.m. interment.
