WICHITA FALLS - Harry Lee Sullenger, 94, of Wichita Falls, died on Tuesday, February 7, 2017. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 13, 2017, in the chapel of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Lawson officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at Crestview Memorial Park under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at a visitation from 5:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 12, 2017, at Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home. A son of the late Margarette (Garlington) and Lee Sullenger, Harry was born on May 6, 1922, in Bowie, Texas. Harry served our country in the U.S. Navy stationed in the Philippines and Iwo Jima during WWII. He was a truck driver for 35 years. Harry was a member of Thornberry Baptist Church. He loved to fish and enjoyed telling of all the big fish he caught. Along with his parents, Harry was also preceded in death by a son, Harry Sullenger, Jr. and a daughter, Mae Kostellaz. Harry is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Carla Sullenger; two sons, George Freeman of Odessa and Johnny Sullenger of Wichita Falls; four daughters, Margaret Priscilla Ortiz, Bonnie Easter, and Tory Margeson and husband, Dan, all of Odessa, TX; and Shanis Simons of Wichita Falls; a brother, Paul Sullenger of Wichita Falls; three sisters, Jean Vidi of Fort Worth, Doris Finelli of Austin and Beverlee Sullenger of Coppell, TX; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
