Harold Charles "Butch" Kuser, 75, husband of Barbara A. (Gabel) Kuser of Boyertown, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 in the Reading Hospital, West Reading. Born in Colebrookdale Township, he was the son of the late Harold O. and Marcella (Greisemer) Kuser. For the last 20 years Butch worked for Deka East Penn Manufacturing in building A1, last working July of 2016. He had worked as a machine operator for 37 years at the former Stanley G. Flagg and had been a Berks County Constable. He was a member of Pikeville Sportsmen's Association, Liberty Fire Company, Boyertown Keystone Fire Company and The Magnificent 9 Hunting Club. Surviving with his wife Barbara of 57 years (married February 14, 1959) are two sons, Richard, husband of Bonnie Kuser, of Boyertown, and Robert, husband of Carla Kuser, of Topton; two daughters, Christine, companion of Robert Powell, and Beverly, wife of Dennis Schell, both of Boyertown; three grandchildren: Heidi, wife of Ian Scott, of Fleetwood; Bryce and Shannon Schell, both of Boyertown; a sister, Dolores Cothran of Boyertown. He was predeceased by a sister, Doris Frey. Memorial Services will be 3 p.m., Saturday, October 22, 2016 at the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home, Inc., 111 North Reading Avenue, Boyertown. Relatives and friends will be received between 1 3 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
