Harold Christenbury Keith, 100 years old of Charlotte, NC, entered into eternal life on October 17, 2016. He was born in Mecklenburg County April 19, 1916, to the late Lindsay and Alice Keith. He is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia, his three brothers, Charles Keith, Sherman Keith, Everette Keith, and a sister, Nettie Wallace. Survivors include his seven children Carolyn McGough and husband Richard, Annette McManus and husband Jack, Thomas Keith and wife Judy, Lindsay Keith and wife Libby, Hazel Davis and husband Jim, Trudy Hulsey and husband Johnny, Wayne Keith and wife Renee, sixteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren. He was the owner of Keith's Auto Service that operated in Charlotte for 32 years. He also served in the US Navy during WWII. He was a devoted husband and father and an active member of Asbury United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends at Asbury United Methodist Church, 11724 Asbury Chapel Road Huntersville, NC on Thursday, October 20, 2016, at 11 AM. A celebration of his life of over 100 years will commence at noon. The Reverend Jimmy Howard will be officiating along with Reverend Donald Rea, Mr. Keith's grandson. Pallbearers will be Cameron Keith, Terry Keith, Brent Davis, Christopher Davis, Craig Primm, and Keith Primm. Honorary Pallbearers are Chad Keith, Christian Primm, Grant Primm, Justin Fain, and Buddy McManus.
