FIRESTEIN, Harold F. (June 13, 1933 - February 17, 2017) Harold "Fireball" Firestein, 83, of North Palm Beach, FL, died February 17, 2017, as a result of a car accident. Harold was born to Albert Bernard Firestein and Gladys Dagenais Schum in Naperville, IL. He graduated from Naperville High School where he played football and ran track and went on to become a successful lumber salesman for Moser Lumber during Naperville's rapid growth years receiving numerous sales awards. During his working years he loved to vacation in Hawaii but retired to Florida. He served in the National Guard and was called back to active service 2 times and served active duty at the Nike missile site in Naperville. Fishing and golf were his passions. He was part owner of an island in Canada where he caught a large variety of fish including one very large muskie. Harold is survived by his brother Al "Butch" Firestein (Crissy) of South Bend, IN, nephews Matt Firestein (Janel) of Chesterfield, MI, Brett Firestein of Dallas, TX. He is also survived by dear friends and care takers who were like family to him that brought much joy to his life. A Memorial Service and Celebration of his Life will be held at the Moose Lodge in Palm Beach Gardens, FL from 2:00PM to 4:00PM Monday, February 20.
