Rosenkrans, Harlan Harlan Rosenkrans, 92, of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2017. Visitation will be held on January 14, 2017 at Paw Paw United Methodist Church in Paw Paw, IL, at 10:00 AM with the funeral service following at 11:00 AM. Reverend Dave Holden of Paw Paw United Methodist Church will be officiating. Burial will follow the funeral at Wyoming Cemetery in Paw Paw. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Torman Funeral Home. Harlan was born in Dixon, IL on April 20, 1924. He graduated from Paw Paw High School and went into the Armed forces shortly following graduation. He served in WWII and was stationed in Germany. After returning, he married Mary Lee Bruce on December 7, 1946; they were married 63 years. Harlan took over the family farm in 1947, served as the Wyoming Township Road Commissioner. He served the Shabbona Fishing Derby for more than 20 years, and was a Melvin Jones Fellow recipient due to his dedicated service to the Paw Paw Lions Club. Harlan is survived by his two children, Marcia (Bob) Wright of Wisconsin Rapids, WI and Ken Rosenkrans of Paw Paw, IL; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many family and friends. Harlan is preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Gladys Rosenkrans; brother Stanley Rosenkrans. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Paw Paw Lions Club. The family of Harlan Rosenkrans wishes to thank Aspirus Riverview Hospital for the wonderful care they showed everyone throughout Harlan's stay.
