H. Jane Cumberworth Voelker
Voelker H. Jane Cumberworth Voelker, died suddenly at her Upper Arlington home on October 16, 2016. Jane was born April 20, 1926 in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of Charles C. and Helen Worden Cumberworth. Jane was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years Gordon Philip Voelker and five siblings Theodore Cumberworth, Gertrude Joanna Cumberworth Ling, George Ellis Cumberworth, Charles Edwin Cumberworth and Helen Virginia Cumberworth Butler Mitrick. Jane grew up in Toledo, graduated from Libbey High School and the Toledo Business School. She moved to Columbus in 1954, and raised her family on the Hilltop. She served as President of the Westgate Elementary School PTA, was a Camp Fire Girls group leader and member of Hoge Memorial Presbyterian Church. She was a devoted homemaker and loving mother. Jane is survived by her daughter, Carol Voelker Bergmann; her son, Philip Allan Voelker; her son-in-law, Charles Bergmann; her daughter-in-law, Linda Voelker; four grandchildren, Kathryn Ann Bergmann (Donald Marshall), Kristin Diane Bergmann (Nicholas Boekelheide), Matthew Philip Voelker (Sarah Moore) and Lauren Nicole Voelker; three great-grandchildren, Emery Marshall, Owen Boekelheide and Lilia Reese Voelker; numerous nieces and nephews; and a loving family of devoted caregivers. Visiting hours will be Thursday 10 a.m.-12 noon at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Road, Upper Arlington. Interment at Kingwood Memorial Park will be private.
