WEBSTER, GUY ARTHUR In loving memory of GUY ARTHUR WEBSTER December 20, 1970-October 5, 2016 Guy Arthur Webster, 45, beloved son, brother, grandson, uncle, friend and animal lover, passed away on Wednesday, October 5th, in Atlantic Beach, Florida. The loss of this very good man with such a kind and gentle spirit, still so young, is a heartbreaker for all who knew him. His perennial warmth provided joy and comfort to countless others throughout his life. Guy, the son of Guy Rodney Webster, Sr. and Jill Ann Camerucci Webster, was born in Miami, Florida on December 20, 1970. He grew up in Gainesville, Florida, where the Webster family established animal-friendly businesses, evolving into Earth Pets, the proudest and most reliable pet care and supplies store, founded by father, Guy. Guy, Jr. was affectionately known as 'Young Guy' or 'Little Guy.' He attended Gainesville High School and Santa Fe Community College. He also proudly served our country in the United States Army, for two years in the early 1990s. Young Guy discovered one of his true callings -- cooking -- at the St. Augustine Culinary Institute. He worked as a passionate and celebrated young chef for several major restaurants in Florida and Louisiana for more than 20 years of his life and career. His meal creations were masterpieces, enjoyed by family, friends and strangers -- and his specialty pizza recipe and cooking process won the honor of being voted the 'Best Pizza in New Orleans.' At one point, he even owned and operated his own restaurant. The kitchen connection he always felt kept him pleasing dozens of family and friends throughout his life. Though he moved on from chef work, he never surrendered his love for cooking -- much to the delight and benefit of those fortunate enough to taste and devour his creations. Managing Earth Pets brought Guy into leadership of the family business, where he continued the tradition of his father, Guy, Sr., for educating pet owners and the general public about the best foods, treatments, exercise and care for their beloved animal family members. Like his father, he became one of the Gainesville area's most respected voices on pet care and animal rights issues. Guy, Jr. was a total people person and, even to new acquaintances, he made every person feel special by his loving heart, friendly tone and earnest support for anyone in need. He was kind, considerate, caring and appreciative for all living things -- people and animals. He was renowned for his hearty laugh and positive personality, which could light up any room and cheer up anyone in his daily path. His quick wit and sense of humor helped shape his optimistic attitude about the wonderfulness of life -- which had such a positive influence on all around him. Guy Arthur Webster is survived by his paternal grandmother, Sandra Webster Wilson, 90; parents, Jill and Guy, Sr.; his beloved sister/best friend, Holly Webster Huber (Steve); nieces Kaia and Sienna; uncles Gery Webster and Greg Webster; aunt, Gay Webster-Sachs; cousins Karley and Shelby Webster, and Crystal Enfinger; uncles David and Chris Camerucci and Mark, Larry and Kelly Boyd. Other cousins include, Mason, Miles, Stephen and Spencer Boyd, Summer Reuter, and Shawn, Nicholas and Tara Camerucci. 'Young' Guy is also survived by his loyal, long-time constant companion and best animal friend, Dingo, the Wonder Dog. A memorial service is planned for the near future, for which another announcement will be made. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that Guy Jr.'s life and legacy be honored best through donations directly to the Alachua County Animal Shelter's 'Paws on Parole' or 'Heart to Heart' programs, through this link: www.alachuacounty.us/Depts/PW/animalservices Please, God, bless this good young Guy -- and hold him close, find a leadership position for him in your kitchen (you'll be glad you did), and reunite him with loved ones and animal friends already there.
