Grace Orlando, 81, of Lambertville, Mich., died Monday, Feb. 13, 2017, in her home. Born Nov. 13, 1935, in Detroit, Mich., she was the daughter of Angelo and Giovannia (Maniaci) Genna. Grace married Peter Orlando on Oct. 13, 1956. He preceded her in death on May 5, 1992. Grace was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, where she was active in the Keen-Ager and at one time lead the grief support group. Grace was an amazing cook and loved to watch the Food Network Channel. She also enjoyed camping, mystery trips, bowling, bingo and game shows. Grace also volunteered at Flower Hospital in the Pulmonary Rehab Unit for several years. She is survived by her loving daughters, Jacqueline (David) Lewis and Paula (Anthony) Williamson; grandchildren, Jacob and Matthew Lewis and Jessica (Darryl) Mason; and soon- to-be great-grandson; twin brother, Angelo (Angie) Genna; sisters, Elizabeth (Robert) Wilds, Rose Pecnik, Mary (Jerry) Carnaghi and Frances Prainito; and several nieces and nephews. Grace was also preceded in death by a sister, Teresa Adamo and two brothers, Robert and John Genna. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m., Friday, Feb. 17, 2017, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 8330 Lewis Ave., Temperance, MI, where she will lie in state after 10 a.m. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
