Gloria May Weiser, 85, of Jefferson Township, and formerly of Laureldale, died January 8, 2017 at Penn State Health - St. Joseph, Bern Township. She was the wife of the late Stanley Joseph Weiser, who died October 15, 1990. They had been married for 36 years. Born March 2, 1931 in Reading, she was a daughter of the late James Adam and May Ada (Montgomery) Rolind. She was a 1950 graduate of Central Catholic High School. Gloria was employed as a bookkeeper for over 50 years for numerous different businesses in Berks County. She was a member of Rosedale United Church of Christ, Laureldale. Gloria was a tour guide with Macaronis Tours, Mount Penn, for many years and was proud to say she has run 42 trips to Las Vegas, Nev. She also loved traveling to New York City, where she went annually with her family. She loved going to casinos with her friends; crocheting afghans, baby hats and various other things for friends and family. She also enjoyed puzzle books, reading and playing on her iPad. Gloria attended sporting events and dance recitals of her grandchildren and their friends. She was affectionately referred to as "Mom-Mom" by everyone that knew her. Surviving is her daughter, with whom she lived, Sheree D. (Weiser) Kulaga Schwartz, wife of Kerry D. Schwartz, of Jefferson Township. Other survivors include her two grandchildren, Jennifer M., wife of Matthew W. Reis, and Matthew S., husband of Natalie A. Kulaga; and her step-granddaughter, Katelyn E. Schwartz. There are also two great-granddaughters, Cecilia May Reis and Mina Elena Kulaga. She is also survived by her former son-in-law, John J. Kulaga III. of Temple. Services will be Friday at 12:30 p.m. in Stitzel Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. Viewings will be held Thursday from 6-8 p.m. and Friday morning from 12:00-12:30 p.m. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township.
