Gloria Juliann McBrayer DENVER CITY-Funeral mass for Gloria Juliann McBrayer, 63, will be held Monday, Oct. 17, 2016, at 10 a.m. at St. William's Catholic Church of Denver City with Monsignor Ben Kastell presiding. Services will be under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Denver City. Interment will follow in the Denver City Memorial Park. There will be a Rosary on Oct. 16 at 7 p.m. at Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel. Gloria passed away Oct. 11, 2016, in Denver City. Gloria was born June 29, 1953, in Ft. Morgan, Colo., to George and Marjory Cook. She married Robert Don McBrayer Jan. 10, 1980, in Brownfield, Texas. Gloria earned her nursing degree from Methodist School of Nursing. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Seminole. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don, in 1997, her parents and a brother-in-law, Carl Nixon. Gloria is survived by a son, Tommy McBrayer of Garland; three daughters, Leesa Grills of Round Rock, Renay McBrayer of Waxahachie, Donna Marie Ho of Honolulu, Hawaii; a brother, Eddie Cook and his wife Carla of Denver City; six sisters, Janice Ford and her husband Galen of Denver City, Mary Foxx and her husband David of St. Augustine, Florida, Nancy Nixon of Idalou, Jackie Middleton and her husband Dennis of Seagraves, Roseann Oden and her husband Bryan of Midland, Jonette DeBlauw and her husband Donald of Denver City, Michelle Aljilani of Anaheim, California; an uncle, Wilbert Bopp of Orchard, Colorado; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
