Gloria Marie Brunner, 96, of Zelienople passed away Thursday at the Valencia Woods at St. Barnabas. Born March 23, 1921, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late George Abner Summers and Helen Rose Whalen Summers. Gloria was a faithful member of St. Gregory Catholic Church, where she often volunteered. She also served honorably as a former president of St. Anne's Guild. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, eight daughters, Sharon (Glenn) Stevens, Joyce (Charles) Adomaitis, Marianne Miller, Cynthia (Jay) Bennett, Nancy McDanel, Marcia Wallace, Diane (Butch) Gregg and Beth (Glenn) Roadman; five sons, Joseph (Judy) Brunner, Robert Brunner, Donald (Darlene) Brunner, David Brunner and Gary (Rebecca) Brunner; 59 grandchildren; 98 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Dolores Kienast and Marilyn Horton. In addition to her parents, Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Joseph Brunner, who died in 1989; her daughter, Janet Lovrekovic; and two brothers. BRUNNER - Friends of Gloria Marie Brunner, who died Thursday, April 13, 2017, will be received from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Gregory Catholic Church, 2 W. Beaver St., Zelienople, with the Rev. Lawrence R. Smith as celebrant. She will be laid to rest at the Pinewood Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Gloria's honor to St. Gregory Catholic Church, 2 W.
