Glenn J. Morin, 57 Fiskdale - Glenn J. Morin, 57, of Cedar St., passed away on Saturday, Oct. 15th, in the Harrington Memorial Hospital, Southbridge, after a seven month battle with cancer. He leaves his wife of 32 years, Mariane (Markiewicz) Morin; his daughter, Mary E. Morin of Sturbridge; his parents, Raymond E. and Irene S. (Nowak) Morin of West Boylston; a sister, Lisa A. Carpenter and her husband Dale of Auburn; a niece, Amanda Mitchell; a nephew, Eric Carpenter; two great nieces, Marley Mitchell and Aria Mitchell; three great nephews, Aiden Carpenter, Lucas and Jaxen Betty; a niece Carolyn Betty; and 2 nephews Matthew and Justin Betty. He was born in Worcester, MA. and graduated from West Boylston Junior / Senior High School. Glenn owned and operated Morin Maintenance for 18 years. He was a true sportsmen and enjoyed ocean fishing in Chatham Harbor with his dad for Cod and Bass, Archery, and firing guns. He was a member of the Hamilton Rod and Gun Club and the Hamilton Archers. Glenn and Mariane enjoyed their anniversary trips to Mexico as well as his little get a way to his trailer in Stafford Springs, CT. His funeral will be held on Friday, Oct. 21st, from the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge, with a Mass at 10:00 am in St. Anne's Church, 16 Church St., Sturbridge. Calling hours in the funeral home will be held on Thursday, Oct. 20th, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to VNA of Southern Worcester County, 534 School St., Webster, MA 01570.
