Glenn R. House
House, Glenn R. Rochester: Age 97, went to his eternal house on October 14, 2016 in Rochester, NY. He was the devoted husband of 65 years to Janice Whiteman House, the love of his life. Born March 31, 1919 in Groton, NY, he was the youngest son of Lloyd Gilbert & Alice Jane Exton House with sister, Elizabeth Viola House (Albert) Burnham & brothers, Lloyd Robert (Helen & Earlene) House & infant, Gilbert Exton, who have preceded him. Returning to Rochester after WWII with an honorable discharge from the Army Air Corp, Glenn was employed for 35 years at the Eastman Kodak Company in the Apparatus Division, supervising the original model construction of new cameras and projectors. He was the beloved father to his 3 daughters, Nancy Jane House, Beverly Jean (Fred) Cooper and Audrey Joan (the late Joseph) Impellizzeri. He leaves behind 3 grandchildren, Clint Cooper, Ariana (Branden) Smith & Alissa Impellizzeri, 3 great-grandchildren, Brayden, Sophie, & Benjamin Smith, also many family members in & out of NY. Our family would like to express our love & appreciation to Cheryl Busch for the tender care she is giving. Visitation and a memorial service will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 pm on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at the funeral home of ALVAH HALLORAN & SON, 2125 Chili Avenue, Rochester, NY 14624.
