Glenda Sue Julian
After a long battle with cancer, Glenda Sue Julian, 58, of Pittsburg, KS, passed away at 6:36 p.m. Monday, October 17, 2016, at her residence surrounded by family. She was born August 8, 1958, in Muskogee, OK, to J.D. and Lena Mae (Hughes) Graves. On August 1, 1975, she was united in marriage to Wayne Julian in Porum, OK. He survives at the home. Glenda graduated from Pittsburg State University with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. She worked as an MIS Coordinator for S.E.K Interlocal for over 19 years. She was a faithful member of the Lighthouse Tabernacle Church. She is survived by her husband Wayne Julian of Pittsburg, KS; a son, Dennis Julian and his wife Laura of Pittsburg, KS; two daughters, Tracy Howard and her husband Zack of Pittsburg, KS, Kristie Hutchison and her husband Brian of Bixby, OK; her mother Lena Mae Graves of Porum, OK; two sisters, Linda Graves of Hot Springs, AR, and Regina Kash and her husband Terry of Porum, OK; seven grandchildren Brittnee, Bailey, and Cory Julian of Pittsburg, KS, Jonathon and Zoey Howard of Pittsburg, KS, and Callie and Nolan Hutchison of Bixby, OK. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Judy Shrum and her husband Keith of Porum, OK; three nephews Sefton Shrum, Robert Kash, and Jeremy Kash and his wife Amanda; a niece Jadrea Shrum, and a great nephew Roland Kash. She was preceded in death by her father J.D. Graves. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday (October 20) at the Lighthouse Tabernacle Church with Pastor Daryl Gaddy officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:30 to 8:00 Wednesday at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to Angels Among Us.
