Gerald F. Kunselman
BROOKVILLE, Pa. - Gerald Francis Kunselman, born Oct. 10, 1933, in Brookville, passed away Wednesday (Oct. 12, 2016) at Greene Memorial Hospital in Xenia, Ohio. Gerald, known as "Jerry" to all his friends, was a farmer, an engineer, a loving father and a loving grandfather. Jerry was a professional electronics engineer at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Fairborn, Ohio, then went to live in Olean, N.Y., where he became a park engineer for Letchworth State Park. His favorite and most cherished hours were spent working on his farms, being on the tractor and rolling down the road in his pickup truck. He will be dearly missed. He is survived by his three daughters, Susan Turner, Nancy Anderson and Sharon Kunselman; a brother, George (Mary) Kunselman; a sister, Mary Rose (Bob) Johnson; a sister-in-law, Debbie Kunselman; a cousin, Rosalie Putnam; four grandsons and granddaughters, Peter and Emma, and Freda and John; nieces and nephews; his former wives, Gretchen Turner and Nancy Kelly; as well as many very dear friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Frances Kunselman; two brothers, Paul and Kenneth Kunselman; and two granddaughters, Grace and Audrey Turner. The family requests no flowers or donations. There will be a viewing from 2 p.m. until the time of service at 3:30 p.m. Monday (Oct. 17, 2016) at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia.
