Gerald William Jordan
Gerald William Jordan, or as he liked to be called "Jerry" of Roseville, CA, age 73, surrounded by his family, went to be with his lord on Monday, February 6 at Kaiser Hospital in Roseville, CA. Jerry was born to William & Irene Jordan at St. John's Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota on May 5, 1943. Jerry & his sister Joanne grew up in St. Paul, MN. He was an avid tuba player at a young age. After graduating from Harding High School in St. Paul, MN in 1961, Jerry enlisted in the United States Air Force. Jerry spent 26 years of dedicated service in the Air Force & retired as an E7 Master Sergeant at his final duty station, Travis AFB in Fairfield, California. After his military service, Jerry spent a couple of years doing several different jobs before once again being called to serve his country & in 1989 began a 20 year career working for the Department of Motor Vehicles in Sacramento, California. Jerry is survived by his wife Kyong, of 45 years. Jerry is also survived by his children, Eric & wife Bing, John & wife Sonja, Angela & husband Jason & youngest son Kim. Jerry also leaves behind 10 grandchildren that love him very much! Funeral services will be held at today at Sunset Lawn CHAPEL of the CHIMES, 4701 Marysville Boulevard, Sacramento, CA at 11am. A reception will be held right after at the same location.
