Gerald Bradley "Brad" Caraway, 51, of Hillsboro, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, April 13, 2017 at his home. He was born July 19, 1965 in West Union, the son of the late George Caraway and Linda Sue (Speakman) Noschang of Hillsboro. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy and was a retired truck driver. He was a life member of Rocky Fork AmVets Post 61, Hillsboro VFW Post 9094 and Hillsboro Eagles Aerie 1161. In addition to his mother, he is survived by the love of his life and mother of his child, Melissa Nichols. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Ruby Gregory of Hillsboro; his stepmother, Linda Caraway of West Union; two children, Justin Bradley Caraway, at home, and Brittany Nichols of Greenfield; a grandson, Isaac Jones of Greenfield; two siblings, Misty (Steve) Louderback and Brent Caraway, both of Hillsboro; a niece, Brandi Caraway of Lynchburg; a nephew, Andrew Louderback of Hilllsboro; and five stepbrothers. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Robert Noschang; and one stepbrother. Graveside services at the Hillsboro Cemetery, with military honors presented by the Highland County Honor Guard, will be held at the convenience of the family. A celebration of Brad's life will be held Sunday April 23 from 1-4 p.m. at Rocky Fork AmVets Post 61, 11541 N. Shore Drive, Hillsboro. The Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro is serving the family.
