In memory of
Georgia Jeanne HOREN
HOREN Georgia Jeanne My journey has ended. I do not regret the plan God made for me. At times it was a difficult course. Most times it was full of joy. I was truly blessed in my life. My journey began June 25, 1952, on my parents' third wedding anniversary. I was proud to have been named after both of them, George and Jeanne Horen. On my journey I have been both wise and foolish. I have been loved and betrayed. And sadly, I have hurt others for which I ask for your forgiveness. I have forgiven those who have hurt me. I have loved much and given my whole heart and soul to my family and friends. And no matter what my days held, I continued my journey with faith and hope and I always believed. I will be joining those who went before me, my parents, George and Jeanne Horen; my maternal grandparents, Howard and Marie Schlagheck, and my paternal grandparents, Rowley and Lucille Horen. I am survived by my life partner and loving caregiver, Kurt Gruschwitz and my very dear friend, Debbie Marsich. I was the second of eight children born to George and Jeanne. Dan Horen, Jan (Don) Mennitt, Rosie (Jim) Duncan, Marilyn (Jerry) Palazzolo, Joanne (Scott) Horen and Tom (Char) Horen, who all survive me. I am also survived by ten nieces and nephews. I have found peace at the end of my journey. I am grateful for the part each of you played. Whether it was for a moment or a lifetime, it was meaningful to me. As each of you continue your own journey, be kind to those around you. Share your smile. And always be gentle with yourself, for it truly is a beautiful world. Consider yourself hugged, Georgia.
