WYLIE, George A. George A. Wylie died October 11,2016 at his home in Austin, combating to the very last the disease that weakened his big and happy heart. George was born in Waco August 8, 1937 to Reverend R.C. and Erma Wylie. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Eddie Carroll Wylie and Milton Wylie. George is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lynette Honeycutt Wylie; daughter Melissa Wylie Marberry her husband Greg and grandson Luke Marberry of Austin; daughter Melinda Wylie of Austin and son Mark Wylie and his family Jennifer and Elijah Carazo, Taylor and Madison Copple of Colorado Spring, CO. and many loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. George attended Baylor University and will be forever remembered as one of their greatest fans. He was a long time resident of Austin where he spent his career in restaurant computer system sales. Watching his grandson Luke play sports was one of the greatest joys of his life. A memorial service celebrating George's life will be held on Tuesday October 18, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. at Riverbend Church Chapel in Austin. Graveside service in Billington, TX. are pending.
