In memory of
George W. Victory
George - "Papa George" as he was affectionately known - was a true gentleman. George was a wonderful husband, a best friend and loved his wife, Janet, dearly. George was calm, kind and loving, yet firm when need be. George always did the right thing by his family and he set a good example for others to follow. George was an electrician by trade and more recently a building plant operator; he could fix or repair almost anything. He liked to build arrows, remodel his house and had gotten into gardening. George was selfless and he'd give you his time, even if you couldn't reciprocate and give him yours. George is survived by his wife, Janet of Eagle River, Alaska; son, Tom with daughter-in-law, Roberta and grandson, Thomas, of Anchorage, Alaska; granddaughter, Jessica Christopherson of Bellingham, Wash.; son, Tim with grandsons, Nathaniel and Tim and granddaughter, Carissa, of Anchorage; Steve and Sarah Victory of Chicago, Ill., and son, Danny Victory. Services will be held on Friday, Oct. 14, 2016, at 3 p.m. at Eagle River Funeral Home: 16421 Brooks Loop, Eagle River, AK 99577 (behind Pizza Man).
