Gale Floyd Kingsley Perry, MI Gale F. Kingsley, 86 of Perry, passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Hospice House of Shiawassee County. Funeral services will be held at the Perry Baptist Church on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at 11:00 AM. Pastors Desmond Bell and Adam Grass will officiate with burial to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Watkins Brothers Funeral Home in Perry on Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Gale was born in Laingsburg, MI on January 15, 1931, the son of Wilton T. & Leona T. (Lobdell) Kingsley. He attended Morrice High School and married Lillian Fouts, the mother of his children, on February 17, 1948. She predeceased him June 9, 1998. He married Nancy Sue Hettinger at the Perry Baptist Church on September 9, 1999. Gale was a member of the Perry Baptist Church, enjoyed antique cars, hunting, fishing, softball, and woodworking. He was a carpenter and owned his own business, Kingsley Construction, having built over 100 homes in Shiawassee County. Gale is survived by his wife, Nancy, his children: Susan (Robert) Marble, David (Connie) Kingsley, Karen (Danny) Denman, James (Annette) Kingsley, Michael (Susan) Kingsley, honorary daughter Janice Lenahan, 18 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, his brother Charles (Ruth) Kingsley, sisters-in-laws Joyce Kingsley and Cathy (Mel) Thorne. He was predeceased by his brothers Fay and Clifford and his parents. Memorials are suggested to the Perry Baptist Church or Hospice House of Shiawassee County.
