MANCHESTER - Gail Vigue Jordan, age 66, died on Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2017, at her residence in Manchester. She was born in Augusta, Maine, on March 28, 1950, the daughter of Raymond F. Vigue Jr. and Leone (Godbout) Clark. Ms. Jordan was employed by BSP Transportation for 20 years. Gail treasured the relationships she developed with her coworkers and considered them her second family. She pushed her limitations to the very end of her life. Sharing in her creativity was one of her greatest joys. Whether she was painting, gardening or cooking, she did so with a happy heart. She believed and lived by the phrase ""kindness matters"". Apparent in everyone she touched. Gail was loyal and genuine to her family and friends. The shadow left with her passing will be felt by many. Family members, in addition to her mother, include three sisters, Judith Kirk, of Hampden, Maine, Karen Peterson of Hooksett and Cheryl Vigue, also of Hooksett; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Raymond Vigue III, and her dad, Frank Clark. . SERVICES: A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, Feb. 18, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover St., in Manchester. A Celebration of Life will follow in the funeral home chapel at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Friends of the Manchester Animal Shelter, 490 Dunbarton Rd., Manchester, NH 03102, in memory of Ms. Jordan and her best friend, ""Biscuit".
