G. Stephen Frampton
G. Stephen Frampton G. Stephen Frampton passed away on Tuesday October 11, 2016 after a long illness. Steve was a dedicated Husband, Father, Teacher, Vice-Principal and Coach. Coaching was his passion. Coach Frampton was the head coach for several teams while at Columbia High School in the late 1950's and 1960's, including Football, Swimming, Baseball and Basketball. Football and Swimming were undoubtedly his favorites. He coached numerous All-State and All-American athletes and his teams won numerous championships under his direction. Coach Frampton served as President of the New Jersey Coaches Association. Steve was also one of the founding members of the Maplewood Lacrosse Club. After retiring from education and coaching, he worked in real estate at the NJ Shore and Florida for thirty years. He is survived by his wife Connie, his son Stephen, his daughter Donna, his son Pete, four grandchildren Greg, Krissie, Catherine, George and one great granddaughter Alana. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 18th at 10:30 at St. Denis Church, 90 Union Ave, Manasquan. Arrangements are under the care of the Orender Family Home for Funerals, Manasquan.
