In memory of
Friendly Al Tumas
Tumas, Friendly Al Friendly Al Tumas passed away peacefully at home in Minocqua, on Thursday, October, 13, 2016. He was 75 years old. Al was born in Chicago and started coming up to Minocqua to fish at an early age. He lived in Appleton, Wisconsin for many years. He was lucky enough to retire in Minocqua with his "current wife" Helen, and spend much time on the water. Al was a recognized authority on old fishing lures and on Musky fishing in general. He could fix anything and had a long and distinguished career as an equipment salesman, fishing tackle salesman, sales engineer, fishing lure maker, and, of course, husband, father, grandfather, and soon to be great-grandfather. He will be greatly missed by his children, Elizabeth Tumas (Howard), Catherine Larco (Fausto), and Bradley Tumas (Jill) and their mother, Carol Tumas; his grandchildren, Eric Stoeger (Melissa), Cameron Stoeger (Jordan), Jennifer, Christopher and Kevin Larco, and Allison, Zachary and Mitchell Tumas; step-son Keith Wenzel (Tara); brother-in-law, Pat Neumeier (Kate) and special niece, Jill Mathe (Dan). He wanted to publicly express his gratitude to AA for his 29 years of sobriety.
