FAIRBORN — USAF Lt. Col. (Ret.) Frederick W. McCullough, age 80 of Fairborn, Ohio passed away October 12, 2016 in the Hospice of Dayton. He was born August 4, 1936 in New York City, NY, the son of the late Frederick and Margaret (Cook) McCullough. He was a member of the American Legion Post 526, VFW Post 6861, and USGA. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Francis, 3 sisters, Ellen, Freida, Margaret. He is survived by his wife, Jean; ex-wife, Judith; 5 children, Judith (Gary) Markley, Frederick (Lynell) McCullough, Jr., Jean (Eric) Manns, Kenneth (Christina) McCullough, Edward (Carlene) McCullough; stepson, Larry (Sue) Watts; brother, John (Aurella) McCullough; 10 grandchildren, Nathan, Blake, Bradley, Grant, Stephanie (Gabriel), Amber (Grant), Duncan, Leah, Jordan, Vicki; 4 great-grandchildren, Melody, Noel, Gabriel, Obedijah. A funeral service will be held on Monday October 17, 2016 at 1:30 P.M. in the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Deacon Max Roadruck officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until the time of service. Burial will follow in the Dayton National Cemetery with military honors.
