May 4, 1929 - Oct. 11, 2016 ARDMORE Freddie Mack Resz, 87, of Ardmore, passed away in the comfort of his home on Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2016. Fred was born May 4, 1929, in Phoenix, AZ to Alfred Resz & Lula Mae (Peairson) Resz. He was raised in Oklahoma and graduated from Putnam City High School in 1947. Fred enlisted in the Army and served in the Korean War. Upon returning home, he married Juanita Mae (Johns) Tebrinke. They had four children. Fred married Margie Ellen (Moore) Goad in Oklahoma City in 1970, and in 1976, they moved to Lake Texoma. He was ordained as a Baptist preacher in 1983 and pastored several churches around the Lake Texoma area. Fred enjoyed being with his family and friends, fishing, gardening and working outdoors. Throughout his life, he was a very sweet, patient, kind, and loving father and friend that faithfully lived his values. He was loved by all who knew him. He is survived by his children: daughter, Terri Cook and husband Harold, of Crescent, OK; daughter, Suzan Hanna, of Edmond, OK; daughter, Hollie Wood, of Durant, OK; and son, Fred Resz Jr and wife Carol, of Ardmore, OK; stepdaughter, Kay Whitehead, of Oklahoma City; and stepson, Danny Miller, of Arlington, TX; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Fred was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Margie; his stepdaughter, Ladonna (Tebrinke) James; and stepson, Michael Tebrinke.Fred was lovingly cared for his last three years in the home of his son, Fred, daughter-in-law Carol, and granddaughters, Abbie and Rachel. A heartfelt thank-you goes out to his home health caregivers and Cross Timbers Hospice. A celebration of life services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016, at the Reflection Pointe Gathering Center, 10900 N. Eastern Ave., Oklahoma City, OK 73131.
