Franklin "Bud" Snow Jr.
PAWTUCKET - Franklin "Bud" Snow Jr., 94, passed away peacefully at home Friday, February 10th, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Alice (Cherry) Snow. Born in Central Falls, he was the son of the late Franklin Snow Sr. & Doris (Jones) Snow. He was the brother of the late Priscilla Fraser. He is survived by a sister Joanne Ridge of Lincoln R.I., and several nieces and nephews. As a young man Bud worked for the family business at Snow's Market in Central Falls. He then went on to work as an automobile salesman for over 45 year's for Pierce Chevrolet and Mandeville Chevrolet. Bud was a man of character who never had a bad word to say about anyone. Bud proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army during World War 2. Bud was a longtime member of the American Legion Club. He enjoyed golfing, baseball, basketball, and always rooted for the Boston Red Sox, Boston Celtics and the Providence College Friars. Bud lived in Pawtucket, Rhode Island his entire adult life with his late wife Alice. Together they traveled to many destinations including traveling to Europe 8 times. Bud and his late wife spent the winter months in Lahabra, California for over 25 years. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, February, 16th at 10:30 am at the Epwoth United Methodist Church located at 915 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket R.I. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
