Frank Hugo Iannucci
IANNUCCI, FRANK HUGO of North Providence, RI died Sunday after a short illness at the age of 93. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 69 years, Mary (Spinella) Iannucci. Frank was the son of Hugo Iannucci and Nellie (Bastia) Iannucci. He is survived by his sister Etta Iannone of East Greenwich, RI. His brothers, Hugo Iannucci of North Providence and Bill Iannucci of Providence, predeceased him. Frank is survived by his daughter Carol and her husband Andrew Parsons of Fisher Island, FL and Watch Hill, RI; daughter Janet and her husband Francis Curren of Newport RI; daughter Lori and her husband David Sundstrom of Wyckoff, NJ; son Frank and his wife Kimberly of North Providence, RI. His daughter Sharon, late wife of Jeffrey Gerlach of Middletown, RI, predeceased him. Mary and Frank have ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Frank was the founder of Eagle Tool Company, Inc. in Providence. He started the company in 1946 after serving in the Army Air Force in World War II, and was joined by his father, siblings and brother-in-law. The company made tools and findings and became a well-regarded part of the national jewelry manufacturing hub in Providence, RI. It was an enterprise he loved to create, and he worked tirelessly at it until four months before his death. Frank's warm sense of humor, generous spirit, dependability and unbounded optimism will be greatly missed, especially by the family he loved so much. Visitation will be held Thursday 5-7pm in the Pontarelli-Marino Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Friday at 11am in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mount Pleasant Avenue, Providence. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
