In memory of
Frances Hummel, 87, of Frackville, passed away Wednesday at her residence. Born in Frackville, she was a daughter of the late Florie and Margaret Kietsock Wilinski. She was the widow of Walter W. Hummel Sr. She had been a machine operator for Model Garment factory, Frackville, for 27 years until she retired in 1989. Frances was a member of First United Methodist Church, Frackville. She was also a member of the American Legion Post 398, Frackville, Ladies Auxiliary. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Rice and Joan O'Boyle; a brother, Floyd Wilinski. Surviving are a son, Walter W. Hummel, husband of Rosalie M., Frackville; a daughter, Ethel "Chickie" Dziczek, Frackville; a sister, Helen Hopko, Frackville; five grandsons; five great-grandsons. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, 850 Washington St., Frackville. Viewings will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Frackville.
