Fotis Kanzonov STURTEVANT Fotis Kanzonov, age 76, passed away at his residence on Easter Sunday, April 16, 2017. On June 1, 1939, Fotis was born to Hristo and Hristina Kanzonov in Bulgaria. He was united in marriage to Nada Keitovski in 1972. Nada preceded him in death in 2014. While in Bulgaria, Fotis was a sheep herder along with his family. After coming to the United States, he was employed by J.I. Case for 30 years. Fotis adored music. He enjoyed singing, and he played the accordion, clarinet, and keyboard and almost any instrument he tried. His faith was extremely important to him. Fotis is survived by his sister: Anastasia Foteva and Elena Hristova, many relatives in Bulgaria, and friends in Racine. Services in honor of Fotis will be held at Kimissis tis Theotokou Greek Orthodox Church (1335 S. Green Bay Road) on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. A time of visitation will be held at the church from 10:30 AM until the time of the service.
