Florencia Lugo, 74, of Clifton passed away peacefully on October 14, 2016. Born and raised in Quebradillas, Puerto Rico, Ms. Lugo moved to Bronx, New York in 1963 and lived there until 1988 when she returned to Puerto Rico. She then moved to Clifton in 2008 and has resided there since. She was a homemaker. Ms. Lugo was predeceased by her beloved husband, Antonio Medina; by a cherished son, Antonio Medina, Jr. and by a dear sister, Isabel Lugo. She is survived by her devoted children: Marilyn Sanchez and her husband, Ralph, of Clifton, George Medina, also of Clifton and Ismael Medina of New Rochelle, NY; three loving siblings: Ricarda Lugo, Ricardo Lugo and Juana Lugo, all of Puerto Rico; and two cherished granddaughters: Alyssa and Isabella Sanchez. Funeral services will be Friday 10:30 am at the Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Interment to follow at St. Raymond's Cemetery, Bronx, NY. Visiting Thursday from 4-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association (www.diabetes.org), 1160 US Route 22, Suite 103, Bridgewater, NJ 08807 would be preferred and appreciated.
