Sept. 22, 1966 - Mar. 14, 2017 Evelyn Sarnillo Betos, age 50, passed away unexpectedly in her Ontario home on March 14th, 2017 due to natural causes. Evelyn was born on September 22, 1966, in Stockton, California, the 4th child of Bartolome and Avelina Betos. She attended primary school at St. George's Elementary and San Joaquin Middle School. She graduated from Edison High School, where she was the 1984 Student Class President. She resided in Stockton and worked for Safeway until 2004, then moved to the Los Angeles to continue her education. She settled there and worked as an administrative assistant for a Neurology practice in Los Angeles. She cared about people and became invested with the patients that she serviced. She always went the extra mile to see that everyone was taken care of. She lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, such as chatting with friends, family, even strangers on commuter trains (who later became good friends), as well as spending time with her nieces and nephews. In 2010, Evelyn met the love of her life Jason "Jay" Harris. They shared the next seven years as an inseparable couple until her untimely passing. She leaves behind her loving fianc Jay Harris, her oldest sister Helen Franklin, brothers Edgar Betos, Arthur Betos and Ernie Betos. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews Megan, Heather, Thomas, Jacob, Dylan, and Jaydon. A Mass will be held for Evelyn on April 22nd, 2017 at 10:30 am at St. Georges Church, 120 W 5th St, Stockton, CA 95206. This will be followed by A Celebration of life for Evelyn held the next day at The Merlot, 23 W. Elm Street, Lodi, CA 95240, from 11 am- 5 pm.
