Ethel Roop Rinehart Bohn, age 87, of Westminster, Maryland, died on Friday, April 14, 2017 at the Carroll Hospital Center. Born April 25, 1929 in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harry Israel Rinehart, Sr. and Helen Elizabeth (Roop) Rinehart. Ethel was a graduate of the Westminster High School Class of 1947, and then attended Bridgewater College. She retired in 1984 as a L.P.N. from Spring Grove Hospital in Catonsville, where she spent most of her nursing career. She enjoyed traveling all over the U.S. and spending time with friends. She was a member of Church of the Open Door in Westminster. She enjoyed attending many religious retreats in Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Surviving her are sister, Joan R. Metcalf of Westminster; brothers, Harry I. Rinehart, Jr. of Vienna, MD, and Robert C. Rinehart of Ellicott City, MD; 9 nieces and nephews; and 14 great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Joyce R. Fowler. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at the Church of the Open Door, 550 Baltimore Blvd., Westminster, MD. Interment will follow in the Meadow Branch Cemetery in Westminster. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, 91 Willis St., Westminster.
