In memory of
Esmerelda Spaulding, 86, of Windsor, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital. Born in Kingston, Jamaica to the late David and Delmena (Rowe) Ashley, she has been a Windsor resident for almost 10 years. Esmerelda loved to go to church, read her bible and pray, but she also loved spending time with her family who will miss her dearly. Her family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Windsor Rehab for their compassionate care of Esmerelda. She is survived by her sons, Wayne Spaulding of Jamaica, Audley Spaulding and his wife Karen of Jamaica, Trevor Smith and his wife Diana of England, Dominic Spaulding and his wife Dalia of Jamaica, and Michael Smith and his wife Virginia of Windsor; her daughters Zita Ebanks of Grand Cayman, Carol O'Brien of Windsor and Maxine Spaulding of Grand Cayman; 25 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Saturday, October 22 at the Rehoboth Church of God, 1170 Blue Hills Ave, followed by burial in Mount St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Her family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday from 9 AM to 10 AM at the church.
