Ervin Eugene Harms Ervin Eugene Harms, 89, returned to his heavenly home on January 12, 2017. He was born in Cole Camp, MO, to the late William H. and Hattie (Jackson) Harms. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Cole Camp, MO. His faith sustained him throughout his life. He married Barbara Lee Kempton in Warsaw, on August 25, 1950. He was a World War II Army veteran. He retired from Rival Manufacturing in Sedalia after 37years. They moved near Fristoe, MO and raised cattle for many years. Gene was an avid fisherman, gardener and arrowhead collector. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Twila Jean Harms Bell, granddaughter, Nichole Marie Bell, a sister, Genevieve Harms Loman and three brothers, Leonard Harms, Lawrence Harms and Milburn Harms. Surviving is his wife, Barbara, of the home, a daughter, Rhonda Harms Tull and husband, Duane, of Cole Camp, MO, a brother-in-law, Ronald Kempton, of Kansas City, MO, many cherished nieces and nephews, friends and church family. Funeral Services at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at Faith Lutheran Church, Warsaw, with Pastor Morris Meseke officiating. Family will receive friends an hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Sedalia, MO. Family suggest memorial contributions to either Faith Lutheran Church Bible Classes or St. Paul's Lutheran School Foundation in Sedalia, MO.
