Eric Wesley Larson Eric Wesley Larson passed away on October 5, 2016 at the age of 57 after a courageous battle with cancer. Eric was born in Seattle on April 17, 1959 to Art and Barbara Larson and was raised in Kirkland, WA. He served honorably in the U.S. Navy for 10 years, specializing in avionics. Professionally, he spent 25 years as a defense industry engineer and most recently worked as a test engineer for F5 Networks. Eric was a devoted husband and father, and enjoyed cooking for family and friends. He was a rabid Seattle Sounders fan, an extreme science geek, a world traveler, and loved punk/alternative music. He had an affinity for the humor of Monty Python and Mel Brooks. Eric was an avid reader, making him an interesting conversationalist. Even in the face of death, he kept his sense of humor ("Life is depressing enough. No Trump talk!"). Eric is survived by his wife of nearly 25 years, Leslie; daughters Kate and Rachel; grandchildren Jade, Ben and Izzy; mother Barbara; father Art; sister Kristine and brother-in-law Scott; and many loving extended family and friends. A celebration of life will be held at The Ninety, 406 Occidental Avenue South, on Saturday, November 5 at 1:30 p.m.
