March 20, 1959-December 31, 2016 Celebration of Life Elsie Rena Jordan Meredith celebrated 2016 New Years Eve with a bang. She passed from this world into the arms of Jesus. She was a loving Daughter, Mother, Sister, Grandmother & Friend, who will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Rena was born & raised in Moss Point, graduating from Moss Point High School. She was a member of Helena Baptist Church & retired from Wal-Mart in Pascagoula. Rena's greatest joy in life was her family, spending time with her Grandchildren and her faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Smith Jordan & Harmon Jordan, and husband Paul Meredith. Rena leaves to cherish her memory, her four children, son, Bryan Jordan & Alison, three daughters, Ashley, Brooke & Chantel, nine Grandchildren & one Great Grandchild. Four Brothers: Harmon Jordan Jr & Margit, Ricky Jordan & Linda, Clarence Jordan & Johnny Jordan & Sissy, all of Grand Bay Al. Three sisters: Jeanette Hyman & Gene, of Helena, Dianne Ivy of Tupelo & Patricia Palmer and Kelly of Ft Myers Fl., and her friend Kathy Miller. She has other relatives and more cousins, nieces, nephews & friends than we can count. Family & Friends are invited to a Celebration of Rena's Life on Saturday March 18th 2017, 11:00 AM, at Helena Baptist Church, 6308 Wildwood Rd. in Helena. Brother Gene Hyman will be officiating. Please come to share a meal & memories of Rena. You can shed tears that she is gone or you can smile because she has lived. You can close your eyes and pray that she'll come back or you can open your eyes to see all she's left. You can remember her and only that she's gone or you can cherish her memory and let it live on. You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back or you can do what she'd want-Smile, open your eyes, love and go on Rena, you will be in our hearts with love forever.
