age 89, passed away Oct. 11, 2016. Beloved wife of 66 years to the late George C. Cooper. Eloise was born Sep. 23, 1927, in Cleveland, Ohio. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from Fenn College in 1948, majoring in Chemistry. Eloise managed the analytical lab at Forest City Foundry after graduation. In an era when few women had such roles, she proved indefatigable. She was a gardener, seamstress, and life-long lover of Sandusky Bay. A thrifty, resourceful mother, Eloise worked tirelessly for the family and raised five children with strength and love. Dear Mother of Laurel Blatnik (Rudolph), Gerald, Roger (deceased) (Carol), Glen (Anne), and Beth Frey (John). Loving Grandmother of Jennifer Grandinetti and Stephanie Wight; Christopher, Andrew, Jonathan, and Hannah Cooper; Kelsey, Samantha and Thomas Cooper; Lisa, Roger, and Alan Cooper, Sarah Lon, and Jenny Cattan; and Steven and Megan Frey. And Great-Grandmother of Orianna, Leonardo, and Isabelle Cooper, Gianna Grandinetti, and Nayla Lon. Preceded in death by her husband George, son Roger, parents Vernon and Sarah (nee Crawford) Fowles, brother Arthur, and sisters Edith Kossuth and Ruth McGreevy.
