In memory of
October 15, 2016 Eloise W. Adams, age 85, of Mobile and formerly of Ono Island passed away October 15, 2016. She was born in Tampa, FL and attended the University of FL where she was a member of Kappa Delta sorority. She was a member of the Daughters of the Confederacy. She worked for many years as a grant writer for the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and for the University of Mississippi. She was predeceased by her husband of 41 years, D. Fenton Adams, her parents Eloise G. Williams and James Maurice Williams. She is survived by her sons, Robert D. Mikell, Jr. (Nancy) of Charleston, SC, Bruce Mikell (Gwen) of Mobile and by her daughter, Caroline Reynolds (Gary) of Kingston Springs, TN. Three granddaughters, Kristi Tolin of Enterprise, AL, Allison Mikell of Mobile, and Lindsey Cook (Michael) of Pegram, TN. Two great grandchildren, Ella Tolin and Sawyer Bell. One brother, James M. Williams, Jr. of Largo, FL, 4 nieces and 2 nephews. Eloise enjoyed traveling extensively and entertaining with the love of her life and constant companion, Fenton Adams. Special thanks to her wonderful caregivers at Legacy Health Care. A small graveside service will be held at a later date.
