In memory of
After a long, exhausting, and many times, triumphant battle against multiple health trials, Elmer Barker, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, September 27, 2017. He was 68. Elmer was born September 2, 1949 in Brush to Lee & Marie (Proctor) Barker. He grew up in Weldona, ranching and farming. It was there that he met his perfect, lifelong partner, Diane Amen. His determination and perseverance will always be a guiding light for those that knew him. He will be dearly missed and he will forever be in our hearts. Elmer is survived by his beloved wife, Diane Barker of Weldona; his daughter, Amy Williams; granddaughters, Alexandria and Arabella; and soon to arrive great grandson, Silas, all of Aubrey, TX; his sister, Maxine Lorenzini of Weldona; and his brother, Jerry Barker and wife, Diane of Sheridan, WY. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Bob Amen and wife, Sherri of Fort Morgan; and sisters-in-law, Connie Garcia and husband, Joe of Lakewood and Gloria Amen of Fort Morgan; nephews, Larry Lorenzini and wife, Kathy, Rick Lorenzini and wife, Vivianne, and Louis Lorenzini, all of Weldona and Jim Lorenzini and wife, Lula of Brush, and many other family members.
